I’m back in California after a wonderful week celebrating Christmas in Michigan. Usually I’m good about eating well while traveling, but this time I ate too much. I also exercised like a maniac (more on that in my next post), so I’m not wallowing in guilt or regret. I enjoyed good food with friends and family, and I’m already back on track with my healthy habits.

The end of the year is fast approaching, and I’m in the home stretch with my 2016 races. My last two are both in December, and the first was on Saturday, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.
I made a flavorful sauce the other night, and I’m calling it a Mediterranean sauce because it uses pretty much all the Mediterranean flavors. All of them.
Finding time to exercise is hard. Talk about an understatement! We’re all busy to begin with, and now we get to add on holiday parties, Christmas shopping, putting up decorations, and all the other fun stuff that comes during this time of year.

A big hello to everyone that’s discovering Keep It Up, David for the first time! I’m glad you’re here.
My name is David. I live in Michigan, and I’m 42 years old. In January 2010, I began eating better and exercising more, so I could lose weight. So far, so good – I’ve lost 160 pounds and am keeping it off! But it’s a tough road, and I need to keeping finding new ways to keep motivated and on-track.
