Although I didn’t have a specific time goal for the Tram Road Challenge race in Palm Springs, I started the race thinking that it would be great to finish in under an hour. And I made it… in the nick of time!

The results, which I saw a little later, showed my name with a time of 59:59.1 – 9/10ths of a second faster than my goal. It was a fantastic way to end an awfully difficult morning. Read the rest of this entry »

When I arrived at the brand new Salesforce Tower in San Francisco yesterday, the top was still shrouded in fog. I took a breath and realized that soon I’ll be climbing to the top of a skyscraper that I can’t fully see!

The other day I had one pooped out puppy.

I secretly hoped, when I adopted JJ, that he would become a running buddy. I never questioned JJ’s ability to run… but would he run alongside me? Only one way to find out!
