I got back from my week in Colorado (which I talked about in four, count ’em, four posts) and, a few days later, it was time to weigh in! I update my weight loss chart every single month. Here’s what the whole thing looks like, after almost nine years of tracking…

This month is nearly half over and I never posted my workout progress report from my weigh-in at the beginning of the month. Better late than never, right?

I’m a few days late with my August weigh-in post, because my LASIK surgery has been top of mind this week. And I’m over a month late with my July weigh-in post, because I jumped on a plane to Michigan the day after my weigh-in and didn’t have time to write that post. Let’s tackle both months at once. Before I get into my monthly deep-dive into health-related facts and figures, I wanted to share the YouTube video where I was interviewed by Kathy Miles. Kathy’s YouTube channel, Totally Kathy, is a vlog where she shares her journey as she loses 300 pounds. She’s lost 178 so far, and still going strong!
Although I’ve never met Kathy in person, we do have things in common. We’ve both Read the rest of this entry »

Before I begin my monthly deep dive into stats and charts and other general nerdery, I wanted to quickly share a couple more things that I’m celebrating. As you’ll recall from my post earlier this week, focusing on my successes is a great way to quiet the negative emotions that have surfaced since I began my little exercise break.
So here’s something awesome: Read the rest of this entry »

Time for my monthly update involving my scale and my charts and graphs and data analysis and YUP, I’M A NERD AND I LOVE THAT ABOUT MYSELF! I step on the scale at the beginning of every month, then immediately walk into my closet and update my weight loss chart. Let’s check out that chart: Read the rest of this entry »
