I got some new goodies from Nuzest! (Read to the end for details on how to use my coupon code for big savings!)
I received more Clean Lean Protein, and two of their newest products: Quick Vita Kick, and a Good Green Snack bar. The Good Green Snack bar is their first non-powder product, and it’s a nutrient-dense, 150-calorie fruit and nut bar.
I’ve had my share of snack bars, and this one is way satisfying. It’s chewy, nutty, fruity, not overly sweet, and it feels substantial, which is a good thing. So many snacks feel like empty calories (probably because they are).
Plus, like all Nuzest products, the GGS is vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, and devoid of preservatives and added sugar. There’s actually 75 ingredients, and while for some products that may be a turn-off, in this case, it’s a variety of greens, berries, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and a whole range of vitamins and minerals.
The other new product they sent me was the Quick Vita Kick. This is a multi-vitamin powder that can be added to smoothies or shakes.
It comes in three flavors, and I picked cacao banana. Cacao is the bean that chocolate comes from, and the chocolate + banana combo is delicious. And I love the scoop!
It reminds me of a pipe. Do I look like Sherlock Holmes?
A serving is two scoops, and that serving has 48 calories, 5 grams of carbs (with, again, no added sugars), 6 grams of protein, and a plethora of vitamins and minerals. I really like the flavor – the banana is a nice touch.
I’ve made a Quick Vita Kick shake by itself, but my favorite thing to do is mix it Clean Lean Protein, Nuzest’s protein powder. I’ve written about Clean Lean Protein before, and right now I have the chocolate flavor, so I do a scoop of that, with a scoop of the Quick Vita Kick.
It’s a double chocolate + banana shake that hits the spot, taste-wise and nutrition-wise. And with one scoop of each, I’m getting 24.5 grams of protein and 69 calories (not counting the milk I add).
