An Awesome Stairwell Shot

The SkyRise Chicago photographer got an awesome shot of me at the end of the Willis Tower stair race on Sunday (my recap, with lots of photos, is here), and I couldn’t wait to share it. Here I am between the 102nd and 103rd floors, trying to finish strong:

Stairwells can be tough venues for photography, so I’ll take any good action shot I can get!

I shared photos of some of the meals I’ve eaten while in Chicago in my last post, and I have a couple new ones. For lunch yesterday, my sister and I had chicken teriyaki, with brown rice and broccolini.

Everything on that plate came from Trader Joe’s. The chicken teriyaki was frozen, and it’s only 150 calories and 3.5 grams of fat per serving. We estimated the entire plate to be 500 calories.

And I ate another entree salad! This one was a cajun chicken salad, with blackened chicken and thousand island on the side (which I didn’t use too much of).

I got this at a little Italian restaurant called Oggi’s Trattoria. Kinda funny that an Italian restaurant has a cajun chicken salad on their menu, but I’m not complaining, because it was spicy and delicious! Still haven’t gotten the entree salad that I’ve been excited for, but I still have a few more days in town. It’ll happen.

Keep it up, David!

Wow! Was that a staircase or a ladder with handrails?!?! It really is as steep as everyone said!
