I love food shopping. I really do. I love wandering aisles and checking out things I’ve never seen before – especially if those things are in the produce section. I love finding new-to-me varieties of fruits and veggies. I love stocking up on favorites, too, and lately, that’s been radishes. I bring a salad to work most days, for lunch, and just about every salad I’ve made in the past few months has included radish.

We went to lunch afterwards, and I was intrigued by the recipe for Peachy Chicken that I found on the back of the bottle of Heinz malt vinegar on our table. So I snapped a photo of the recipe.

I have a great trick to keep your fruit salads looking beautiful and lasting longer. Read the rest of this entry »

I suffered major sticker shock the other day. I made a quick stop at a supermarket, to pick up a watermelon to bring to a get-together. While looking for the melons, a lady offered me a free sample of a mango. Yes, please!
It was delicious. She pointed to the Read the rest of this entry »
