I can’t believe it’s been almost two months since I started my much-needed exercise break. Although I didn’t know what to expect when I started it, I had some vague thoughts that by now I’d be back at full capacity. And I’m not. Ultimately, I’m fine with that. I’m staying active, and my thinking has evolved.

It’s been two weeks since my exposure to poison oak (it happened during this hike), and I’m still as itchy as ever. I have rashes on both legs, a huge rash on my ribcage and stomach, and rashes up and down both arms.

New Year’s resolutions are a big deal, and so many of them involve losing weight. Self-improvement is always something I can get behind!
It’s the ninth day of the year, and unfortunately, studies have shown that by the end of two weeks (only five days from now!), nearly one-third of all New Year’s resolutions will have already been abandoned. And GUESS WHAT? I don’t want you to give up on your resolutions!
