BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: I’ve been invited to speak about weight loss and fitness in Michigan and you can come! Mark your calendar for Thursday, July 12th… and keep reading for details!
Speaking at the Fitbloggin’ Conference in Denver a few years ago.
I’ve been lucky enough to have a few motivational speaking opportunities in recent years. I spoke at the world-famous Getty Center in Los Angeles, and, most recently, at Nautilus World Headquarters in Washington about four months ago.
I tell my story at these events – how, after a lifetime of obesity, I started making changes and took control of my health, lost a lot of weight, and have kept it off. I talk about how I stumbled into competitive tower running, and how discovering and embracing a new sport changed my life. Mostly, though, I try to impart the idea that everyone, no matter your age, weight, or fitness level, can start doing what I did, and how those changes that can lead to extraordinary, unexpected things. I have slides and take questions – it’s a whole big thing, and so fun to do!
And now I have the chance to share this message, live and in person, in Michigan!
I’ll be speaking at Birmingham Next on Thursday, July 12th, at 6pm.
Birmingham Next is a non-profit community center serving Birmingham, Michigan and the surrounding communities. It’s geared for the 50+ crowd, but my speaking event is open to the public. Anyone and everyone can come!
While it’s open to everyone, you do have to reserve a seat. To do that, go to the event website and register at the bottom. For Birmingham Next members, it’s free. For everyone else, it’s five dollars. CLICK HERE TO VISIT THE WEBSITE AND REGISTER.
